OK - I picked up Leo Anibaldi's "Void" from the $2 bin (along with spirit of vampyros lesbos, joey beltram (50 cents), laswell - oscillations remixed (good record, only good record laswell's put out in a while, mainly because he had nothing to do with it), the groovy record on extreme) - it's alright. Some of it's really nice. But is there anything of his that's harder hitting? It sounds like his style could so easily lend itself so something truly amazing, but it isn't on "Void." And has anyone noticed that some of it (around track 2 or 3) sounds very very much like Autechre's vletrmx? --- the humble abbott arthur purvis set his hand hereto
